children to Whipsnade Zoo; Entertainment of Senior
Citizens; Donations to local students for Operation
Raleigh; Contributions to the local Scout & Guide
Groups; Purchase of Holiday Chalet to provide
holidays for underprivileged families; Tailgate for
North Watford Mobile Library; Numerous supporting
donations and part contributions for the purchase of
equipment etc for local projects; Support for the
Watford Peace Hospice.
International
Preparation of Emergency Boxes for the relief of
victims of floods, earthquakes etc; Provision of
Water Aid for sites in India and Africa; Assistance
with Eye Camps and Polio Immunisation; Support for
Scout Hospital project in Kenya; Support for
Childrens Home in Bangladesh; Contributions to
Jaipur Limb Centre & other worthwhile causes;
Provision of Ambulance/Mobile Cancer Unit delivered
to Pakistan by two of our members; Support for major
charities such as Hope & Homes for Children.
Educational
Youth Speaks competition for Schools and
Technology Competitions; Exchange of English and
French School Children; Hosting of young adults from
overseas involved in Group Study Exchange or
Ambassadorial Students; Organising Youth Camps;
